(B10) Curate.TV: Development

 Call with group:

  • Discussed ideas and developments we had all made.
  • Decided the yellow colour wasn't working and should look back through previous colour experiment.
    - Decided on vibrant green, wouldn't contrast as not many images have this colour in.
    - Felt it was appropriate to use the vibrant colour more sparingly to keep its effectiveness.
  • Delegated roles for developing project further (mine is insta posts introducing speakers).

The concept I had for the instagram slides was well received, needed to make alterations to the colours.

Concept for introducing page:
Works really well, need to change to updated colour though.

Need to make alterations to colours.

6 shapes were drawn and each was designated to a particular speaker:

They were redrawn a few times and animated into a sort of gif to go behind the portrait of the speaker.
- Speckled background to add
- Add in hand drawn white elements (should move with background shape to)

Animation posts:

Comments form group that the vibrance of the green made it slightly difficult to read the white text.
So changing the green from 00ff00 to 00eb00 to make the text more legible.

Should take advantage of the siping feature on Instagram and create a caroselle post of the videos, including the information about the event.

- The green is a it much when combined with the colour imagery, could maybe switch the detail colour and large shape colour?

Use a white shape in the background:

Instagram posts with the white shape in the background and really effective, however the green should be incorporated somewhere.
- Adding in lines with the green:

The end slide had all the information on about the event, when testing this with info on each square it became too complicated and difficult to read.

Close up:
- Shows the information, links to other materials since it has the small hand drawn elements.
