Reflection on the project:
Peggy and I worked together well, we incorporated frequent video calls to check in on each other in terms of development as well as delegated jobs. As we were able to communicate openly with each other we could play off each other's strengths.
The time management was good throughout the project, we set up a week for initial ideas, a week for development, and a final week for refinement. We stuck to this schedule and it prevented us from taking too much time on ideas or experiments that weren't working.
As the submission is digital we didn't delegate time to producing the publication, however, we decided to print the book which allowed us to gauge the success of the project. The google satellite imagery when printed feels more like photography making the internet feel less like a space and more like an object.
By printing the book we could see that the physical considerations like french folds helped emphasise the idea of rabbit holes, they concealed the information well.
I really enjoyed working on this project with Peggy it was great having someone to bounce ideas off and as we have a similar approach to working both in terms of our practice and practically we complimented each other well, resulting in a well-refined outcome.
