VISUALS IN PRACTICAL:
- Is there a way of simplifying the images, as the photographs are all saying 'wear high vis'.
- Could be an icon, as a visual reference.
- Could suggest spot colour of fluorescent ink to illustrate the point clearly without the need for a photograph.
- Develop easily recognisable icon, or intense colour.
- Publication has a playful approach to imagery, how could this be incorporated into the development of an icon or illustration?
- Different types of high vis represented in the imagery, could there be simple illustrations for the different types (pedestrian, cyclist, horse rider) rather than the whole picture?
CONTENT:
- As there is. a lot of work so picking out specific sections to work on to avoid overworking.
- Choose sections that incorporate a range, some that are just text, some that incorporate images, others that have the road signs.
- Need to think about how the grid structure can develop a consistent layout.
- Do 2/3 sections in their entirety and have that be the book.
NAVIGATION:
- Incorporate a practical element that can encourage easy navigation.
- Sorted, Resorted - a good example of this can you will be hopping between sections, you don't read it linear, you will go to find a specific piece of information.
- Each page would benefit from a reference of which section you were in.
ESSAY DEVELOPMENT:
- Think about the way imagery impacts information retention, discuss this in more detail in essay, photography compared to iconography etc.
^ Already have some points discussing this, need to delve deeper into this.
TO PROGRESS WITH:
