The types of photos need more consideration, I'm going to be taking pictures when I'm out and about on my phone that capture something similar to what we'd like to comment on. This way I'll be able to generate a more clear understanding of visuals for the publication.
- Don't want to communicate only a sense of cold with the imagery.
- Finding spots around the city that resonate with the themes in the essay.
These two have a sense of regeneration to them. The house with scaffolding has a more literal connection to the themes in the essay as it is being changed and altered.
This is a tree that I used to climb when I was younger (around age 12) when I visit it there's a strong feeling I get that's very nostalgic and my whole body is places back in that time.
- There's another tree in this park that has the same sense.
Places indoor are obviously difficult to photograph at the moment, can't go inside anywhere. Currently spending easter holidays in my boyfriend's new house he is renovating so during this time I've been getting to know a brand new area of Sheffield and develop a new sense of place here in this house.
- Could use it as a place of security within the publication. Do I need to showcase it?
