603: Crit & Feedback

Today's Tasks:

Crit Feedback:

(B7) Research Brief:
  • Try and glamourise Sudoku.
  • Thinking along the lines of 'The Queen's Gambit'.
  • Could go down the route of self care since I do a sudoku before bed and in the morning.

(B5) Penguin Book Cover:

  • Like the paper idea.
  • It seems like a metaphor for ruining something perfectly fine.
  • Could put paper within a circle to make clean and link to the globe shape.
  • Like the idea that it's not obvious, it doesn't present doom and gloom.
    - Agree, I think this makes it more approachable, people won't be put off as currently climate change is a topic many people don't want to hear about (some people really do want to).
  • (Gabi) As a way to play with the idea of hidden could look into type and how we can read text when only half is there.
    - Could research into this and potentially apply principles.
  • (Hannah) After reading the book you think about the cover differently, understand the idea and metaphor more easily.
    - I agree with this, think this idea of understanding after reading or during reading is something that should be understood when giving more context.
